Internship Description:

The Intern will participate as a full member of an Agile SCRUM team participating in recurring 2-week development sprints.

Responsibilities:

You will be immersed in the real work of developing features for our Android-based cycling computer, associated cloud and website, and the operations of delivering software.  You will become part of the team and be given programming work needed in the product or operations and are delivered along with the work of the team to our customers as the output of every sprint.  This work will be appropriate for the success of the intern and will be expanded as possible during the internship.   Team members are available to aid the intern along the path, which will be software development and possibly some testing automation tasks.  This collaboration will help orient the intern to the product and features under development.

Qualifications:

Website Development Intern

We democratize data, so our users enjoy, understand, and share the sports they love.

Internship Description:

The intern will work on our team of engineers to build new features for our website. This will include HTML/CSS, Javascript, and Perl programming. No experience in Perl is required, but the candidate should be familiar with at least one programming language. The work will result in something tangible on our website that the intern can use to show future employers what they've done. The intern will learn how to work on a software development team, release processes, testing, and gathering requirements. Daily stand ups, development, pair programming, testing, and releasing features will all be a part of the experience.

The intern will be assigned to shadow a Sr. Designer or Design Lead on a specific project for the B/R app. Some of the things the intern could be responsible are:

Creating user-centered experience for B/R’s digital products, including wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and visual designs.
